Going To Another Country

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 | Self Improvement |

That can happen. You're living in your own country. You're working like hell. But you keep on struggling. Nothing changes. No big money. What can you do? Stay where you are and keep on working? Sure. You can. And with it you'll get real frustrated. You won't live long. Is there an alternative? You bet there is. Go to another country. And there start all over again. Get your life in order there. I know. That's difficult. It's difficult to decide to leave you own country and go to another ...

Recovering Email Publishers Do Ads-On-Q!

Friday, June 26th, 2009 | Advertising |

It is no secret that email publishing is becoming more and more difficult every day. With all of the new SPAM legislation, filtering systems, and mailbox competition, an ezine publisher has less than a 50% chance of getting their information to the desktops of readers. That is not a very good return for all of the work invovled in bringing that publication into being. This is why the introduction of RSS technology, blogging, and channel feed publishing has become a hot topic. Publishers using ...

Ely Castle

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 | Travel |

Ely Castle was in the cathedral city of Ely in Cambridgeshire.  Its probable site is a mound near the cathedral which is now called Cherry Hill. This was a motte and bailey castle built by William I in 1070 in his conflict with Hereward the Wake to subdue the Isle of Ely. Once Ely was quiescent the motte was abandoned. However it was refortified in 1140 during the Anarchy by Bishop Nigel but surrendered to King Stephen. In 1143 Geoffrey de Mandeville was placed in charge of the castle. ...

Ely Cathedral, Ely Tourist Accommodation and Information, Ely, England

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 | Education |

The Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity in Ely is known as the "Ship of the Fens", a name inspired by the distant views of its towers that dominate the low-lying wetlands called The Fens. The diocese of Ely was created in 1108 out of the see of Lincoln, and a year later the bishopric of Ely was founded. The cathedral was started by William I in 1083, suffered the collapse in 1322 of the main tower, which was rebuilt as an octagon, and was completed in 1351. ...

Get The Most From Your Pay Per Click Ads

Monday, June 22nd, 2009 | Advertising |

Using pay per click to advertise online can be a valuable, immediate source of online sales, but it can also cost you a lot of money if you don't know what you're doing. The problem is that most people rush in, sign up with a pay per click search engine and start their pay per click campaign. They get lots of traffic, lots of clicks and pay lots of money but they don't make a single sale. First off you should use a keyword generator of some sort. I personally like overtures keyword search ...

Mama, I Ain't Spending Another Dime!

Thursday, June 18th, 2009 | Advertising |

I remember the days when the Internet was new and companies were charging an average of $35 to run advertisers' banners on their web sites for 1,000 impressions. Boy, times have changed. In the early days, advertisers use to enjoy click-thru rates of about 15% on their banners. Today the average click-thru rate is only 0.5%. So why hasn't the average price to purchase banner impressions dropped at the same level? Major web sites depend on banner revenue to continue operating, and as long as ...

How to Get the Traffic You Need (c) 2005 Jeremy M. Hoover http://hoovermarketing.info/ Traffic-generation is a hot topic for marketers. In particular, 'free traffic' seems to be the desire of most. But many sources of 'free' traffic are not really free'they take your time, which can often be more valuable than spending a few dollars on your marketing. "You Must Read this Book" Terry Dashner.....................Faith Fellowship Church in Broken Arrow, OK 74013 As you know I have the utmost respect for Dr. D. James Kennedy. I listen to what he says. His voice helps direct America back to her founding heritage--Jesus Christ. I like that. The other day I sent $30 to help support his radio and TV ministry. What I received in return is beyond good. It is really good. In response to the small gift I gave, I was sent former Chief Justice of the ...

Have you noticed that everyone on the internet is an expert? It's definitely not true. However if you do some research most everyone on the internet is either trying to "SCAM" you, "spam" you, steal from you, or talk you into some worthless Matrix program. Some of the rest is making claims that is well beyond fraud. It's absolutely pathetic to realize that the internet is full of garbage. However, if you haven't been stung, you will be. Why Using an Ad Blocker Can be a Bad Idea

Thursday, June 4th, 2009 | Advertising |

Ad Blocking is getting to be a common sport on the internet. Now there are some legitimate uses for an ad blocker. Let me be brutally honest; until recently, I had never bought anything on eBay, I'd never sold anything on eBay, and, dang-nab-it, I disdained auctions. (Bidding wars just weren't my bag. I was a lover, not a fighter.) But one fine day, everything was about to change. So if you're searching for an honest, easy way to make cash-in-a-flash and lots of it, then read on dear web-surfer. My life as usual suddenly took a dramatic U-Turn the day my best buddy seemed to be channeling a tenacious Tom ...

Saratoga Access Control - San Jose Access Control

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 | Business |

You can never be too careful when you are in business, which is why a San Jose business needs to have San Jose access control for their building.  As is the case of Saratoga.  Saratoga access control should be looked at for every place of business. Audit trail not only keeps you and your employees safe, but it can help prevent office theft and even money stolen from a trusted employee.    Sam had a business in Saratoga but did not think it was necessary to have any kind of Saratoga access ...

You think you're radical?

Monday, June 1st, 2009 | Spirituality |

/p> 'Think You're Radical, Think Again' Is it radical to raise your hands in worship to God? Is it radical to pray out loud during congregational praise? Is it too radical to talk about your love for Jesus when others talk about their worries and fears? What does it mean to be a radical Christian? If you asked that question to any number of believers today, probably you would receive any number of comments. Why? It's because radicalism's meaning has changed many times over the centuries. For ...
